Book Club Promo

Save Up to 50% On Order of 5 or More Copies

Book clubs are a great outlet, allowing people to get together and engage in thoughtful discussion. It’s a great way to share your thoughts and have your voice heard.

We may not always agree, but it’s invigorating to challenge our perceptions and hear different interpretations.

As an author and reader, I value these discussions. They are often fulfilling, leaving us with fresh ideas and perspectives.

To acknowledge that, I wanted to establish a channel to reach out to book clubs and reading groups. I value what these gatherings represent and how they can help us grow as readers. Considering that, I am offering all of my paperback works—which encompasses basically everything I’ve written—at a discounted rate to book clubs and their dedicated members.

Orders with a minimum of 5 copies (of any one title) will receive a discount up to 50%. This varies by title, so I have put together a pricing guide you can access below.

You will also find the order form linked below, which allows you to place orders between 5-20 copies. Should you need more than that, please contact me at [email protected]. I will respond as quickly as I can.

Why Should Our Book Club Consider Your Work?

As a reader, I understand people don’t enjoy every author, and I’m no different. For instance, I enjoy both Cormac McCarthy and Stephen King, two writers who divide readers. For fans, it’s sometimes hard to see the other perspective, and vice versa.

I suppose the best thing to do is give you an overview of what I write:

  • My Herman Ingram Series is best described as suspense/thriller/action, though I like to pepper in humor as well. The humor isn’t overwrought as to border on farce, just bits to ease the tension.
  • I have dabbled in horror, as witnessed in the Random Synapse Misfire novellas. Each comprises three short stories that focus on normal days which prove to be anything but.
  • The short story The Last Cigarette is a suspenseful drama focused on a single protagonist. Its paperback also contains the story Broken Reel, which focuses on similar themes with a slight supernatural touch. Also included is The Cleaner Comes at Midnight. This one is more of a short horror piece with the focus on the lone survivor of a city gone mad.
  • I have also touched on true crime with Closing Time. This piece looks at the real-life unsolved triple-homicide that occurred at the Be-Lo grocery store in Windsor, North Carolina in June 1993. This was—without question—my most frustrating project since so little information is available.

I’ll follow that up with some information about my style:

  • I love characters and dialogue. I don’t inherently believe you should love a protagonist, but you should be able to understand their situation.
  • I write dialogue that feels natural to me. That means that there is profanity, but not purely for the sake of it. I think about the characters, how they would react, and I write accordingly.
  • My primary goal is to entertain while telling a story. It may not go where you expected, but I work to ensure you are beguiled throughout.

How Does It Work?

Once you submit an order, you’ll receive an invoice via PayPal. Don’t worry if you don’t have an account with them, as any credit or debit card is all you need.

Once you submit payment, the order is finalized. As an indie author, I use print-on-demand services for order fulfillment. Because of this, the typical turnaround time is 3-4 weeks. I realize this can be a minor inconvenience, though it allows you to plan for your book club.

Thank you for coming and I look forward to hearing from you!
